![]() ![]() Going by the name, that should do the job, but still, Maximum Power Saving works. I have no idea why, but for me "Maximum Power Saving" works instead of "Maximum Performance". In it, goto "Wireless Adapter Settings"->"Power Saving Mode" and change both "On battery" and "Plugged in" to "Maximum Power Saving". ![]() If both of the above didn't work, open Power Options, and edit your current plan's "advanced power settings". Once you find it, search for a DWORD "PnPCapabilities" value. If there is no "Power Management" tab, open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> Class -> (Just search for 4D36E972, that does the job) In it, there will be a bunch of numbered keys, open each one and check its "driverdesc" value to know which one is your wifi-adapter. Now reset your adapter, and check if the adapter is alive after a while(it takes ~2 hours or so for me). To verify this is the issue, see if you’re able to connect to your WiFi using another device. If the opened window has a "Power Management" tab, open it and untick the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Fix WiFi Network Not Showing Up on Windows 10: If you are facing this issue where your WiFi network is not showing up in the available network list then you can be sure that the issue is related to corrupt, outdated or incompatible network drivers.
